Eddie Spaghetti Is Coming to Tissue Farm

Eddie Spaghetti, our friend, is a mountain legend, and he makes really remarkable work, and his stuff is about to be all over our walls.

Tissue Farm’s Spring Show kicks off April 17 and runs through June 1, featuring woodblock prints, original prints, and what the poster accurately describes as “other strange and wonderful things.” Eddie is a printmaker based out of Morgantown, WV, who discovered his calling after studying woodcut printmaking on a trip to Australia. EDDIE SPAGHETTI ART He’s been carving ever since. Even after 20 years of making woodcuts, he still says he can’t stop carving.

His process involves carving a slab of wood, inking the surface, and pressing it onto homemade paper to create intricate works of art. The results are bold, graphic, and full of energy. His subjects draw from a deep reverence for nature and love of the outdoors, rooted in the Appalachian Mountains he calls home. EDDIE SPAGHETTI ART Think rivers, raptors, trees, and the kind of landscapes that make you want to go outside.

But Eddie isn’t just a woodblock guy. He also works in pottery, batik, mural painting, and just about anything art related, and he loves sharing his talents through workshops and teaching. EDDIE SPAGHETTI ART Expect some range on these walls.
